The search for the happiest places to work in the UK has officially launched with The Telegraph’s Happiest Places To Work Awards.

In Association with the Telegraph, we’ll be asking you to take the free Workplace Happiness Survey so that later this year we can announce the Happiest Places To Work in the UK. We’ll also rank the happiest places to work when it comes to your gender, age, location, industry, and ethnicity.

By asking individuals about how they rank in a range of aspects of their work, Engaging Works is able to deliver a score out of 100 to rank their overall happiness at work; from the environment they work in and how well they get on with their line manager, to how well rewarded people are for the job they do.

The survey takes just minutes to complete, is anonymous and individuals will instantly receive their happiness score and a range of insightful matrices that outline and compare their happiness at work to others.

The winners will receive a Happiest Places To Work award and all businesses will receive a free summary of how their organisation has fared when it comes to having a happy and engaged workforce.

Academic research shows that businesses with an engaged workforce have productivity that is 20% higher and profits 20% higher, highlighting the importance for employers to help their staff be engaged and happy.
